Telepass, more urban mobility. New payment models: all new offers
Descriptive text here

News coming for Telepass. The company led by Luca Luciani is focusing strongly on cities, with a series of new services and the aim of becoming the main integrated mobility operator. Then change the payment model, with a simplification of the offer packages active from next July 1st. And for those who want to only use electronic tolls, the “Pay per use” alternative is strengthened. Without an annual or monthly fee, you will thus be able to pay (one euro) only when you use the company’s well-known device on the motorway. The company’s commercial paradigm therefore changes: electronic tolling becomes only one, but not the main, of the services offered, with the company aiming to enable integrated and sustainable mobility, focused on urban centres.

With the “Top 50 Cities” project the group therefore wants to strengthen the quality and widespread nature of its offer, including geographical, to allow customers – thanks to active collaboration with local public administrations – to improve the travel experience and save time in all major Italian cities, not just the larger ones. Investments are also planned to guarantee “premium” quality standards, increasing the territorial coverage of urban mobility services. The offer packages, from the current 5, will become three: basic, plus and Young (to which is added the aforementioned “Pay per use” alternative). The first two will be integrated with new services and will cost 3.90 euros per month (the second on promotion until December 2025). The plus will have over 25 additional services, including: access to area C of Milan, the ferry on the Strait of Messina included, “free” parking in over a thousand European facilities, and discounts on the blue lines in 297 municipalities, the ski pass , refueling, electric vehicle charging, train and plane tickets and local public transport tickets. It will then be increasingly easier to take advantage of shared mobility (with bikes, electric scooters and scooters). Today, however, there are offers with fewer services: one until 2 May with zero fees for two years (then 4.90 euros per month) and the Telepass Easy one at 2.50 euros per month (4.64 from 1 July ).

And again: to try to intercept younger customers, who are increasingly less inclined to use the car for environmental reasons, but also to try to facilitate the mobility of tourists, the “Young” subscription arrives, which can be activated via credit card or of debit, without subscriptions or daily charges. It will include the main mobility-related services present in the Telepass platform, excluding electronic tolls. Finally, the company is committed to strengthening the IT security of customer data and transactions, including with the decision not to pass on any of their data to third parties for commercial or other purposes.
