Il 2026 promises to be full of news for Cupra. The Spanish brand consolidates its presence with a series of interesting models, electric, hybrid and purely thermal.
The proposal is quite varied and ranges from the debut of the baby electric Raval to the new Formentor VZ5 and Leon VZ, the maximum expression of the brand’s sportiness. Here are all the news in detail.
Cupra Born 2026
The battery-powered compact receives a substantial update for 2026. We expect a major renovation on an aesthetic level and in the on-board equipment for the Born, with the LED lights that should align with what we saw on the Terramar and Tavascan.
Cupra Born VZ, the current model
Some improvements are also likely for the powertraineven more powerful and efficient. THE priceshowever, they should not move too far from the current 40,000 euros.

Cupra Formentor VZ5
The Formentor equipped with the 5-cylinder Audi returns to the range with a production limited to 4,000 units worldwide. The 2.5 turbo always delivers 390 CV unloaded on the four-wheel drive. The look is meaner than the other versions in the range, with 20″ wheels, four copper-colored exhaust pipes and sports seats with carbon shells.

0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and maximum speed increased to 280 km/h for the meanest of all Cupras.

Leon VZ and VZ TCR
The Leon VZ will “double” in 2026. At the beginning of the year the updated “base” model debuts and is offered in a total of 1,500 units, with the 2.0 TSI brought to 325 CVfor a 0-100 km/h acceleration of 5.4 seconds and a top speed of 270 km/h. Compared to the outgoing version, there are some aesthetic and interior changes, as well as even more fun driving dynamics.

The most extreme arrives at the end of the year VZ TCRproduced in 500 examples. The technical basis is the same, but it can transform into a two-seater, has racing seat belts, a more aggressive aerodynamic kit and a revised set-up.

After the debut of the 210 HP and 226 HP variants, it will be the turn of other entry level models. For the latter the attack price it will be around 26,000 euros.

Cupra Tavascan 2026
Cupra’s largest electric SUV receives even more complete equipment. Some aesthetic and interior tweaks are also likely, perhaps with new upholstery and new infotainment options.
The motors and batteries of the Tavascan should not undergo changes: therefore, the 2019 versions should remain in the range 286 CV E 340 CV with accumulators up to 77 kWh and autonomy exceeding 500 km.
