Edoardo Camurri arrives at Garbatella with his new book, “Introduction to reality”. The television host, journalist and writer, will be a guest today, 26 June 2024 at 6.00 pm, at the Moby Dick cultural hub, in Via Edgardo Ferrati 3. The author will talk with Emanuele Dattilo, after greetings and a brief introduction to the discussion, which will be carried out by the municipal councilor Lorenzo Giardinetti.
The book
“Introduction to reality” is an epistle, a small philosophical pamphlet of about a hundred pages in which the author addresses a you imaginary, which we can assume as all of us. The book, published by Timeo in 2024, collects a flow of passionate reflections, capable, as the author himself says, of making us encounter reality in its harshness. In its pages it therefore collects issues ranging from fear to death, from psychedelia to love. The one contained in the book is a story that starts from the beginning, from the birth that introduces us to the world and reality. The author’s reasoning can help us redefine possible reality.
The author
Journalist and writer born in ’74, Edoardo Camurri has concentrated his work on philosophical and cultural dissemination. Until January this year he hosted, on Rai 3, the cultural program “Discovering the golden branch”, which attracted a large audience of students and people of all ages, also entering schools. Many radio broadcasts and paper contributions. Among others, he introduced Huxley’s psychedelic writings into the Mondadori edition. During the pandemic, he led “Masters”, the Rai Cultura program that promoted home teaching during school closures, in collaboration with the MIUR.
