The Deputy Mayor of Cortina d’Ampezzo and the creator and manager of the festival, Francesco Chiamulera, also spoke at the presentation. “Beyond the quality numbers, in terms of participation, capacity for involvement, authors and works, ‘A Mountain of Books’ is a point of reference in the panorama of reading, culture and journalism and deserves particular recognition for its ability to combine the passion for books and the love for an enchanting landscape, bringing together authors, characters and works with a heterogeneous and international audience, also confirming the cosmopolitan vocation of this splendid place” concluded Corazzari. The inauguration will be on Saturday 13 July at the Palazzo delle Poste in Cortina with Katja Petrovskaja and her latest book The photo was looking at me published by Adelphi.
