Saturday 15 June at 5.30pm, at the bookshelf Briviodue of Aosta, Valeria Tronauthor of The balance of fireflies – the best-selling Italian fiction debut of 2022 – will return to tell the small ancient world of Val Germanasca.
His new book Sweet Stone tells the touching story of a group of friends who miss everything, except courage. And the unexpected arrival from Argentina of a girl with a guitar who will change their lives.
The author
Valeria Tron is a daughter of Val Germanasca. She is an illustrator, singer-songwriter, wood craftsman, she made her debut with the novel The balance of fireflies (Salani 2022), candidate for the Strega Prize and finalist for the Benedetto Croce Prize, the Massarosa Prize and the Le Pagine della terra Prize, and winner of the Femminile, Plural Prize and the Città di Cave Prize.
