Xavon – Books – Il Progresso Magazine

“Xavon. The unvaccinated boy. Distorted Existence”, the work of denunciation by Alan Paccagnella.

«Those that are about to be leafed through certainly cannot be considered simple and harmless facades. Thanks to the writing of them, a therapeutic outlet was given to an anger that could have stubbornly returned to the existence of the person who wrote them, but above all, and what is decidedly not negligible, a hidden truth was also wisely exposed in the eyes of those who will instead want to opt for reading the book.

In short, there is no point in beating around the bush. This is not a story like many others also because it is probably only suitable for people ready to tear out the notebook of criticism in order to allow themselves to identify without any prejudice. It hurts to say it, but these are chapters that will not give discounts to anyone and in which phrases will be found that could offend the sensitivity of too many naive Italians who blindly wanted to invoke a dogmatic science”: these words are contained in the prologue of the work “Xavon.

The unvaccinated boy. Distorted existence” by Alan Paccagnella. The author immediately makes it clear that what you read, if you dare, will not be harmless and will not flow as if it were a simple entertainment story: in this text the finger is pointed at the hypothetical culprits of a conspiracy on a national scale, and strong, sometimes controversial statements are made, to which one cannot help but react with indignation or, probably to a lesser extent, with total approval.

Alan Paccagnella has decided to put down on paper his harsh criticisms of the government, virologists and pharmaceutical companies in relation to the coronavirus pandemic, and into this cauldron he also includes those who slavishly followed government directives without asking themselves if it was right for their health, physical and mental, and for their sacrosanct rights as Italian citizens.

Xavon, the protagonist of the work and, it is clear, the author’s alter ego, is one of those people who refused to get vaccinated: his choice leads him to be fired, to suffer the wrath of his family and friends and to being practically obscured on social media. The reasons for his decision are to be found in the belief that vaccines are instruments of power and not of salvation: through them, for Xavon an invisible war is being fought in which the incidental victims have already been calculated, whose sacrifice is at least necessary . The author presents a dystopian novel of denunciation in which there is a lot of anger, and in which the protagonist will almost risk losing his mind to assert his reasons.
