The first official book from Jannik Sinner’s number one fans. Known throughout the world, the Carota Boys tell their story in these pages, retracing their idol’s rise to the top of tennis, including unlikely encounters, funny backstories and unforgettable experiences on and off the court.

Six friends from the province of Cuneo show up in the stands of the most important tennis tournament in Italy, the Internazionali di Roma, dressed as carrots (all except one, to be honest…). It is the hot May of 2023 and Alberto, Alessandro, Enrico, Francesco, Gianluca and Lorenzo cannot imagine that that costume is about to make them famous all over the world. The success at the Foro Italico was immediate: journalists and fans fell in love with these boys with overwhelming enthusiasm who suddenly appeared in support of their tennis idol, the young and talented Jannik Sinner.

A few weeks after their “debut” the Carota Boys find themselves on a train to Paris (where they hastily, perhaps too quickly, created their Instagram page) headed to Roland Garros, the first – but not last – Slam of their lives. And on the red clay court they will receive his towel from Sinner, the first gesture of understanding between the athlete and his number 1 fans. The incredible and often daring adventure of the Carota Boys seems like the script of a film: starting from a small village overlooking Monviso, the six boys rose to international prominence for their genuineness and the joy with which they experience tennis support, which soon transformed into an “orange wave” that swept across the country.

From Wimbledon to New York, from Melbourne to Rotterdam, the Carota Boys talk about their “dream” experience between unlikely and often hilarious encounters, funny and tender backstories and a myriad of unforgettable experiences on and off the court, all alongside their Favorite tennis player of all time.

The CAROTA BOYS are six friends from Revello, in the province of Cuneo.
They have known each other since they were children, they love sports, especially tennis, and share a huge passion for Jannik Sinner. To show their support to the champion, they decided to go to Rome for the 2023 Internazionali BNL d’Italia dressed as carrots. From there their incredible adventure began.
