MARCALLO WITH CASONE – The book by Giancarlo Minella, Cristiano Brandolini, Matteo Colaone And Chiara Cerutti “The Celts of the Ticino Valley”, born from collaboration between the Lombard Ticino Valley Park and the cultural association Terra Insubrewhich has always been committed to spreading the knowledge and culture of the Celtic, Germanic and Alpine peoples who characterized our territory.
The volume aims to highlight how the Ticino valley represented a place of large Celtic settlements, retracing the historical and archaeological sources of each individual municipality and offering itineraries to discover the places of great discoveries. A new key to discover the territory

As the Lombard Park of the Ticino Valley, I am happy to present it this year, which marks the 50th anniversary of our institution: an important celebration that allows us to make our business better known».
The president of the Piedmontese body, Vallera, is also proud and observes: «It is a book born from the collaboration with colleagues from the Lombardy body and this in itself is a reason for satisfaction since the synergy always bears good fruit. Our bodies work for the conservation of protected areas through valorisation of the territory, which also involves the cultural promotion of publicationslike this one, which know how to interest and fascinate by showing our territories in a time in which the rhythms of life of the men who inhabited the banks of the “blue river” were marked by nature”.
