The thanksgiving ceremony took place in recent days for the donation of toys and copies of the children’s book entitled “Story of a humanized ostrich”.

The donated book is illustrated by the self-taught artist Giorgio Buda with texts by Linda Patricia Bazzocchi and Barbara Salotti, with the collaboration of Alessandro Severi for the graphic project and Idea Coop.

The donated games and books will be given to the children during their stay at the Infermi hospital, a small gesture that will make them feel a little better.

The donation was possible thanks to the collection of donations during an exhibition of drawings by Giorgio Budawhich tell the story of a cute clumsy ostrich named Floppy, set up during the Christmas period in the spaces of the Fellini cultural center in Gambettola, the city where the painter born in Savignano lives.

The artist Giorgio Buda, the writers Linda Patricia Bazzocchi and Barbara Salotti, Loris Derni and Paolo Capodicasa for Idea Coop and Dr. Roberta Pericoli, Director of Pediatric Oncohematology, spoke at the delivery and thanksgiving ceremony.

“Also on behalf of the Romagna healthcare company, I thank the promoters of the project – underlined Roberta Pericoli – and all the people who chose to donate, helping to give emotions to the children who access healthcare facilities”.
