In the SottoVico Garden we also talk about books: Saturday 20 April second appointment of “Readings in the Garden”

VICO D’ELSA (BARBERINO TAVARNELLE) – It’s called “Readings in the Garden”, and it is a new initiative proposed by the always very active Giardino SottoVico, in Vico d’Elsa.

Where the idea is to organize, once a month, the presentation of books by local and non-local authors.

“We started in March – they say – with the presentation of the book by Fabrizio Fabiani “Before the day knows it exists. Stories from Gongo”. An interesting and exciting evening where the author, through some Congolese characters, told us not only his experience as a lay missionary, but also the drama and poverty experienced by the people”.

Tomorrow, Saturday 20 April, there will be the presentation of the books by Walter Vettoria writer from San Gimignano who, starting from a first autobiographical novel where he also recounts the San Gimignano of the 60s/70s/80s, ended up writing two detective stories.

Also set in San Gimignano, they will be part of a trilogy: in fact the third mystery will be released in June.

We would have the pleasure of having the mayor of Barberino Tavarnelle with us, David Baroncellialready present at the first presentation, and the mayor of San Gimignano Andrea Marrucci.

He will dialogue with the author, Lorella Carli. Appointment at 4pm, free entry.
