It was just a matter of time. After beloved children’s characters such as Winnie the Pooh And baby mousethe studios competing with Disney were not long in coming and immediately started a series of genre film projects horror. And now the inevitable is coming crossoverstitled Mickey vs. Winnie!
This is announced Untouchables Entertainment, which in association with the iHorror website will produce a slasher film directed by Glenn Douglas Packard, an Emmy-nominated choreographer who recently also became a director. At the center of the frightening story will be Winnie the Pooh, the honey-hungry bear created by AA Milne, and Mickey Mouse in the black and white version of the short film Steamboat Williethe only one free from copyright.
Protagonist of Mickey vs. Winnie is a group of friends who venture into a forest in search of strong emotions. What they don’t know is that in the 1920s in that same cursed forest Two men are dead, killed by two mysterious entities. These are distorted versions of two childhood characters, Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh, who now return to terrorize them. The unfortunate ones will have to survive a night of blood and violence, battling their favorite cartoon heroes to free themselves from the curse of the forest. In a terrifying sight, Mickey and Winnie will clashdyeing the forest blood red.

Winnie will be our tribute to this spine-tingling fantasy.”Packard said, then added that the characters they will not be played by actors in costumebut they will be live action horror versions of the two cartoon icons.
Finally, it should be underlined that this project it has nothing to do with it nor with the saga of Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honeynor with the already announced projects relating to Steamboat Willie. With regard to Blood and honeyafter the release of the second chapter the series will continue expanding into a real cinematic universe called The Twisted Childhood Universe. As for Mickey Mouse, they remain in the works regardless Mickey’s Mouse Trap That Screamboat.
