Il Filo – The portal of Mugello culture » In Borgo San Lorenzo “The Poetry Corner” becomes a book

BORGO SAN LORENZO – Walking through the streets of the historic center of Borgo San Lorenzo you will find posters with phrases and drawings. These are the illustrated poems created by the pupils of the Borgo San Lorenzo comprehensive institute who, with their teachers, have joined the third edition of the Pro Loco initiative “The Poetry Corner”, which has reached its third edition this year. Every year four themes, which stimulate children to reflect, to look inside themselves and to put their dreams and desires on paper. This year the topics were “My country”, “The school I would like, “I’m talking about myself” and “Free theme” and the amount of emotions aroused by their words, with which they described places, people, feelings, is surprising. , but also profound themes with the disarming simplicity of their young age.

Furthermore, this year ProLoco wanted to enclose these works in a beautiful book, which just by leafing through it is an injection of optimism and joy. We therefore invite you to walk in the center and stop and read the poems. Anyone who would also like a copy of the book can contact the Pro Loco on 339 6017119 or the “La Coccinella” shop in Via Mazzini in Borgo San Lorenzo.
