DcomeDesign – Call for designers, artists and artisans
The Call to Action promoted by is online DcomeDesignan association that traditionally deals with female creativity and planning, entitled I’m your cup of tea! – 2nd edition with mustache which in this case overcomes gender boundaries by launching a challenge also aimed at men. This edition, again curated by Anty Pansera and Patrizia Sacchi, invites designers, artists and artisans to design a unique cup that becomes a collector’s item. The selected projects will be displayed in the exhibition I’m your cup of tea! – 2nd edition with mustache from 16 to 31 October 2024 in the Colonne room of Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan. Furthermore, for the first time Dcomedesign will award awards to the exhibited works.

IED Milan – Master’s Degree in fashion design and visual communication
The IED Milan launches two new courses: Degree in designing responsible and sustainable fashion collections And Degree for the production of meaningful narratives in which technology is perfectly integrated into the communicative processes of exchange between community and environment. The first trains professionals capable of designing sustainable and circular textile products, limiting phenomena of overproduction and overconsumption. In the second, professionals are trained who are able to facilitate the narration of complexity through corporate communication and art techniques. Registration is open for both for the first edition which will take place next autumn.

Ministry of Culture – Announcement of the Berlin Prize for two Italian architects
The announcement for the fifth edition of the Berlin Prize – promoted by the General Directorate for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture, by the General Directorate for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and by the Italian Cultural Institute of Berlin – which offers two young Italian architects the opportunity to spend a six-month period in Berlin (January-June 2025) for a training and professional experience at a selected architecture firm, and to delve deeper into the issues relating to reuse and regeneration urban. Up for grabs is a return plane ticket, accommodation, a monthly allowance, assistance and insurance coverage.

The new creative partnership between the two Turin companies will give an artist the opportunity to create Eredi Borgnino’s Christmas boxes. In fact, the Call for Artist announced by is online Borgnino heirs – retail sales channel of Exica, a historic Turin company among the leaders in the fruit and vegetable sector in Italy – in collaboration with Artàporter, a platform that creates connections between artists, spaces and brands to create urban art galleries and communication projects. Aimed at painters, illustrators and cartoonists, without age limits, and with the possibility of also using artificial intelligence, it allows the winner to create a celebratory poster available in four different Eredi Borgnino boxes, on sale during the Christmas period in his shops, bistros, cocktail bars in Turin and Pinerolo.

Circolo del Design – Call for training in green culture
The call announced by is online Design Club of Turin to participate in the training course in green culture lasting 66 hours (36 online and 30 in person from November 2024 to January 2025) to acquire vocabulary and skills on the foundations of scientific environmentalism, knowledge of the specificities of the cultural and creative sector , service design tools and practices, design methods from idea to impact, basic notions of management and economic sustainability of ecological transition paths. There Civic Museums Foundation of Venice is looking for registrars with a permanent contract. The Bolzano Municipal Theater and Auditorium Foundation deals with the maintenance, custody and public services for the Bolzano Municipal Theater and Auditorium.
