ETHICAL PHOTOGRAPHY The winners of the five sections of the World report award 2024 have been announced

The climate crisis, the consequences of the war in Ukraine on the young generations, but also a detailed story on the laws that regulate the termination of pregnancy in the world and the spiral of illegality and brutal violence between gangs that Haiti is experiencing after the murder of the first minister Jovenal Moise. The jury (Jeffrey Henson Scales, Sandra M. Stevenson, Amber Bracken, Alberto Prina, Aldo Mendichi and Laura Covelli) decreed the winners of the five sections of the World report award, the international photojournalism prize awarded every year by the festival of ethical photography. The awarded works will be exhibited during the next edition of the exhibition, the 15th, scheduled in Lodi between September and October.

The winner in the “Master” section, the most important, is the English photographer Giles Clarke, author of the reportage “Haiti in turmoil”, the shot entitled “Rivne region” by the Polish Patryk Jaracz was instead judged the best in the “Single shot” category ”.

Meanwhile, to celebrate the 15 years of the festival, the creation of a box set is planned which retraces some of the most impactful and engaging stories presented from 2010 to today: a crowdfunding is active to raise funds for the production of the catalogue, a box set with 15 precious photographic inserts enriched with texts by photographers and organizers. .
