The Museion of Bolzano is looking for Event Manager

The free open call with an open theme is aimed at all photographers from all over the world Cortona On The Move Awardnow in its third edition and created in partnership with LensCulture, which last year alone welcomed over two thousand applications. The objective of the project is to support photographers in the development and production of their works and is part of the constant search for original and innovative narratives that has always characterized the Cortona international photography festival. The competition welcomes works, in development or unpublished, with the most varied photographic approaches to contemporaneity. The 10 finalist works, evaluated by a jury of international experts, will be screened from 11 to 14 July in Cortona, during the inauguration days of the exhibition. The first place winner will receive a prize of three thousand euros and the possibility of exhibiting at the 2025 edition of the festival.

The 11th edition of the announcement is online COMEL Award Vanna Migliori Contemporary Art: the free international competition that promotes the aesthetic use of aluminium, aimed at artists who live and work in one of the countries of the European continent. This year’s theme Aluminium, Below the Surface: it is an invitation to go beyond appearances and seek what is most hidden. A jury of experts, chaired by the critic and writer Giorgio Agnisola, will select 13 finalist works which will be exhibited in Latina at the COMEL Space in October 2024. The winner of the 11th edition will be chosen among the finalists, who will receive a cash prize of 3500 euros and the winner of the Public Prize, i.e. the author of the work most voted by visitors to the exhibition. Both winners will return to the COMEL Space for a personal exhibition.

Registrations are open for workshops promoted by Petites Folies School, Summer School project organized by plug_in and GRRIZ. This is a practical course in self-construction in wood for the design and creation of a line of outdoor furniture for the garden (KARMA GARDEN) of the new headquarters of the KARMA SEA SCHOOL – Windsurfing and water sports school in Porto Empedocle (AG). The new headquarters is located in a farmhouse on the urban beach of Marinella. The objective is to make a space for events and relaxation available to the local community and members, which can encourage the development of a cultural aggregation center in the area. Participants will be issued a certificate of attendance at activities for a number equal to 40 hours of work which can be used to request CFU from their university.

L’Cultural Association of Scompiglio and theagricultural company of the same name (wines and restaurants) are looking for a professional for the position of social media manager to take care of the following tasks: development of communication strategies on digital media and creation of an editorial plan; creation of engaging and quality multimedia content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.; development of Social Media Optimization and Social Media Advertising actions; analysis of results and creation of reports. At least two years of experience in planning social campaigns, developing and managing editorial plans are required. Type of contract: freelancer with appointment starting from September 2024. There Museion Foundation, Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Bolzano look for a event manager who is creative, flexible, with negotiation skills, organizational talent, determination, team spirit and a lot of initiative. Duties include designing, planning and implementing events for the Museion public for Museion’s exhibitions and collection; Coordination of autonomous and independent working groups for the creation of formats that serve to promote the subcultures of the region. Many years of experience (at least two years) in project or event management is required, preferably in the field of art and culture (university education is a preferential requirement). The following are expected: 40 hours of work per week for a salary equal to 14 months (Confcommercio tertiary collective bargaining agreement); flexible schedule; possibility of working partially in smart working; food stamps; and professional training.
