the photographic exhibition in Chieti

The story of a long adventurous journey in South and Central America between Patagonia, Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica and Nicaragua in search of endemic fauna. On Sunday 14 April the Teatro “photo traveller”, Daniele Dell’Osa presents his free exhibition-event with the shots taken in his latest adventures. Starting from 10am until 10pm, at the New Gilda Wedding location in via Aterno 441 (Brecciarola district) it will be possible to admire the shots of the 36-year-old originally from Chieti.

A journey, the last one, which began with a one-way ticket to Buenos Aires. “For me, traveling represents a life purpose, it is my greatest passion and this is why I prefer to travel alone because only in this way am I sure that everything will be the result of my decisions. If a certain place particularly strikes me, I can hardly resist its call, just as I feel free to leave if I don’t feel any particular fascination.

“I felt – says Dell’Osa – that I should give an artistic twist to the trips that I have been accompanying for a few years with mainly naturalistic photography, give them something more. A meaning, a soul: as poets name their poetry or singers their song, I have given a name to my journey. ‘Adelante’ translated from Spanish means ‘Forward’. Here, for me the final shot is not important, the path is important.”

It is possible to participate in the photographic journeys of Daniele Dell’Osa who also acts as a guide in places that are difficult to reach and have a particular charm.

On Daniele Dell’Osa’s website and the Facebook and Instagram pages it is possible to follow the adventures of the “photo traveller”.
