Francesca told us how life in the paddock isn’t as exciting as you might think. Although the environment is dominated by the presence of men, with a minority of women dealing with hospitality and communication, intimacy is not a taboo, but nor is it as frequent a practice as one might imagine. Valentino has expressed the desire to have another child, preferably a boy, but they both agree that they don’t want more than two children. Francesca also talked about the pregnancy kept hidden until after a crucial race weekend, so as not to distract Valentino. After her revelation, the driver shared with her the thought of retiring from racing, a thought that came to fruition with announcing his retirement in 2021.
