Russian forces launched a massive attack on Ukraine last night with 55 missiles, one of which was hypersonic, and 21 kamikaze drones: the Kiev Air Force announced this on Telegram, underlining that it had shot down 59 out of 76 targets: 39 missiles and 20 unmanned aerial vehicles.
Russian forces launched one Kh-47M2 Kinzhal hypersonic missile from Russia’s Tambov Region, two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from occupied Crimea, four Kalibr cruise missiles from the Black Sea area, 45 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles by a Tu-95 MS strategic bomber (from the Russian Saratov region and the Caspian Sea area), an Iskander-K cruise missile from the occupied Crimea, two Kh-59/Kh-69 guided missiles from the occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia and 21 kamikaze drones from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk area and the Kursk region (both in Russia).
For its part, Ukrainian defense shot down 33 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles, four Kalibr missiles, two Kh-59/Kh-69 guided missiles and 20 drones.
