Another intervention by the American police on a campus where protests and occupations are underway against the war in Gaza. The agents intervened in NorthEastern University in Boston to clear out the tent camp in the central square of the campus. According to the Boston Herald, 100 people were arrested in the raid. All those arrested in possession of a student identity document were released “and will face disciplinary measures from the university but not legal action”.

While the arrests were confirmed for “those who refused to prove” their belonging to the university. The university leaders explained that they had requested police intervention because the occupation, which began with a student demonstration, had reached “intolerable” levels, also due to the “infiltration of professional activists who have no connection with NorthEastern », said Renata Nyul, vice president of the university in charge of communications.
