Ohio, Frank Tyson dies stopped by the police

In the United States, another case of suspected abuse of power and excessive violence by the police against African Americansthe.

A similar, very similar case, to that of George Floydwho died during an arrest by officers in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which had triggered protest demonstrations of the movement throughout the country “Black Lives Matter”.

This time it happened to Canton, Ohiowhere the 53-year-old Frank Tyson he was stopped by the police and died uttering the same dramatic words spoken four years ago by Floyd: “I can not breath”.

In a 36 minute shocking video, which dates back to last April 18th, you can see one of the policemen who pins him to the ground, presses his knee on his back for over 30 seconds and responds to his pleas to let him go: “Calm down.”

Five minutes later the same officer checks his pulse and finds there is no heartbeat, but more time passes before cardiopulmonary resuscitation is performed. Then an ambulance arrives and the man is taken to hospital where he is pronounced dead.

While awaiting the outcome of the investigations, the officers involved they were suspended.

From what we understand, Tyson was released from prison on April 6 after serving 24 years for kidnapping and theft and immediately after having violated the terms of his parole.
