In this new edition a tournamentbroadcast for the first time ever on Canale 5, numerous new features will be introduced. In the first qualifying phase, 10 competitors they will have to face 15 questions of general culture. Alone the three best will play to climb to the million competing with each other.
Who Wants to Be a Millionaire – The Tournament, who won the third episode
The three finalistswho obtained the greatest number of correct answers in the shortest time, they are Antonio, Matteo and Costanza.
Costanza is ranked third and is the first to tackle the climb towards the million mark. The competitor places her “goal” at 100 thousand euros. To the eighth question worth 200 thousand euros, Costanza gets the answer wrong.
After Costanza, Matteo and Antonio also face the climb towards the million. If one of the two manages to reach or exceed the goal of 150 thousand euros, they will win.
Matteo’s climb unfortunately ends at question number 4 of 50 thousand euros. In this way, the reigning champion remains Costanza.
Antonio, first place in the qualifiers, is the last competitor to face the climb towards the million.
Antonio manages to correctly answer question number six of 100 thousand euros managing to reach the finish line of Costanza and becoming the champion of the evening.
Antonio also answers the 150 thousand euro question correctly. After reading the 200 thousand euro question, the competitor decides to stop.
In the fourth episode of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire – The Tournament, Antonio returns home with a prize fund of 150 thousand euros.
