The Boys: the public does not appreciate season 4 “Too political” | TV

Despite the critics’ comments on season 4 of The Boys have increased as the days go by, it seems that the majority of the public is not appreciating Butcher’s return.

At the time of writing this article, the audience rating is 52% and season 4 is the first in the show’s history to be labeled Rotten. Critics, however, are still favorable with a score of 95%.

Most comments accuse the season of becoming too political, others cite no complaints except that the TV series has gotten worse. Others, still, consider Frenchie’s romantic developments in season four to be a significant problem, and still others have given no reason.

The Boys is available on Prime Video.

In season four, the world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the control of Homelander, who is consolidating his power over her. Billy Butcher, who has only months to live, has lost both Becca’s son and his role as leader of The Boys. The rest of the team is tired of his lies. The stakes will be higher than usual and they will have to find a way to work together and save the world, before it’s too late.

The cast of The Boys stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit and Cameron Crovetti. The fourth season will also welcome Susan Heyward, Valorie Curry and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
