The couples’ reality show begins around the football competition. Here’s what Mediaset will do to “distance itself” and aim for a safe exploit in terms of share.

Temptation Island, Maria’s “trip” to Rai
Whoever thought this is unknown. But given the wit of Maria De Filippi, and since it is she, behind the scenes, who takes care of Temptation Island, a couple of doubts definitely arise. The fact however is that Mediaset has chosen to distance itself from the competition (lost from the start, it was obvious) with the matches of the Italian national team at the European Championships. There second episode of reality arrives Thursday 4 July, between the round of 16 (scheduled for 29 June to 2 July) and the quarter finals (scheduled for 5 and 6 July). The third date with Temptation, then, it will be Thursday 11 July, just after the semi-finals (9 and 10 July) of the European tournament hosted by Germany. Once the European Championships are over, Temptation Island will have totally free field, with a possible double final scheduled for Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th July. A very intelligent programming, changed in the race to “dribble” Rai and build a concrete possibility of very high shares. After all, last year Maria De Filippi’s program made a splash (was there any doubt?). So after a disappointing Isola de Famosi, you bet everything on theTemptation Island exploit. The conditions are all there.
