Before finding out how the events of the inhabitants of Cukurova will continue in today’s episodes, let’s take a look at what happened in the last episodes. Fans of the soap were left in suspense after a mysterious man shot Colak in the chest. The criminal had been kidnapped by Betul who wanted to kill Zuleyha with her gun so as to incriminate him and take revenge on two people in one fell swoop. But the plan fails and Betul runs away leaving Zuleyha and Colak alone and with the desire for revenge.

In the episodes of Sunday 12 May of Bitter Earth we see that Colak’s death shocks all of Cukurova. Betul, convinced that she is the heir to all man’s fortunes, returns to the city with her mother Sermin and her two women move into Colak’s villa. When they call the lawyer they discover the bitter truth: Colak had never registered the marriage so Betul inherits nothing. While Betul tries to find a way around the problem, Colak reappears. In front of a crowd that includes Lutfiye, Fikret, Zeynep, the servants of the Yaman villa and Colak’s guards, the man explains the plan that he and Zuleyha had developed to bring out Betul’s true nature. Meanwhile, Gaffur talks to Uzum about the possibility of remarrying and the little girl agrees.

In the next episode broadcast today, Sunday 12 May, we see that Gaffur is sent for shopping on behalf of the villa but, once at the grocery store, he discovers that Hakan had already bought everything two days earlier. It’s a shame, however, that that stuff never reached Villa Yaman. Zuleyha, surprised by what she discovered, suspects that her husband is an accomplice to Abdulkadir’s escape. So she decides to follow him and finds out that she is helping Vahap and Abdulkadir escape. She thus becomes furious with her, she had asked her husband not to lie to her anymore, so she decides to end their relationship permanently.
To find out if Zuleyha will really leave Hakan and what will happen to Betul after the failure of her plans, all that remains is to wait for the next appointment with Bitter Earth scheduled for Friday 17 May in the early evening.
