Pia has never stopped investigating who poisoned her but, above all, why they did it. Having averted the danger of losing the child – and having made sure that it was not Petra or Elisa who wanted to do away with her – the housekeeper will try to return to everyday life. But just when things start to take a peaceful turn, Pia will make a disturbing discovery: the woman will find one hemlock bottle in the room she shares with Don Gregorio and it will leave her scared and speechless.
Meanwhile, Jana will want to discover once and for all the identity behind the anonymous note she found: the girl will want to see clearly and, in the meantime, will gather Pia’s confidence. The housekeeper will confess that she found a bottle of hemlock in her room and that she fears it Don Gregorio may be responsible for his poisoning. The housekeeper will ask the maid for maximum confidentiality and Jana will ensure that she keeps this information to herself.
Pia, therefore, will try to understand if Don Gregorio is really as dangerous as she thinks and will have to be careful not to reveal the slightest sign of concern in his presence. Unfortunately, the housekeeper will not be able to do it, but above all it will be Don Gregorio who stands at attention, no longer finding the bottle of poison: the former butler will suspect that he has been discovered.
