It gets plenty of ratings and criticism, Hurray. The winner of the Friday night share competition is Rai 1but most of all Gianni Morandi. For many viewers and commentators on X, the former Twitter, the only real decisive factor of the first of the five episodes of the show celebrating 70 years of Italian public television.
First, the numbers: as mentioned, Rai 1 took the lead both in the prime time slot, from 8.30pm to 10.30pm (with an average of 4,567,000 spectators he was born in 23.02% d share), than in the late evening, from 10.30pm to 2am (with an average of 1,452,000 spectators he was born in 15.83% of shares). The range ratings are the only ones made available by Auditel these days and until April 29th due to a Nielsen strike. In prime time (but also in late evening), in second place is Canale 5, which was programming yesterday Bitter Earth and which obtained, from 8.30pm to 10.30pm, an average of 3,217,000 spectators with a 16.22% share, and from 10.30pm to 2am, an average of 955,000 spectators with a 10.42% share. Third place in prime time for La7, which programmed Live propaganda and which obtained, from 8.30pm to 10.30pm, an average audience of 1,223,000 spectators and a 6.16% share. Fourth channel in prime time, Rai 2 (which programmed Diabolik) with 1,108,000 spectators and a 5.59% share. The performance of Brothers of Crozza on the Nine (the Warner Bros Discovery channels are the only ones for which the ratings of individual programs are also provided), with 1,071,000 viewers with a 5.7% share and peaks of over 1,300,000 viewers.

On social media, however, opinions on Evviva are conflicting. “Let’s not hide, it’s the same TecheShow with Insinna – a viewer on X polemically points out -. Once again, when you have no ideas you take refuge in the TV of memory which in the summer may be fine but in the height of the TV season it is frankly boring. Only âgés and telemaniacs can like it”. The program is in fact an archive container that retraces the history of Rai with the most iconic images of the Viale Mazzini shows. In this sense, perhaps, there could be no one more apt to the hosted by the eternal boy from Monghidoro, who has gone through the history of Rai as a singer, presenter and actor.

And someone broadens the field of investigation: “One thing I often ask myself: today we sing songs from 40/50 years ago. Gianni Morandi tonight at Hurray he mentioned many artists that we all remember. But in as many years will we sing today’s songs or will we remember these singers? We’ll only find out by living.” Anyway, “The moral of this Hurray is that Gianni Morandi practically it has always been there“.
