Descriptive text here

The iconic Gianni Morandi, who a few days ago scared his fans by posting a photo in which he appeared with one eye bandaged, makes his return to television with great enthusiasm, presenting the new program entitled Hurray!. The singer from Monghidoro will lead the viewers on a journey back in time, through genres, characters and themes which marked the history of Italian television in the first 70 years of life. The format of “Evviva!” involves an original traveling broadcast, which will not have a fixed television studio but will be set in various Italian cities, from Trentino to Sicily.

Here’s what it’s about Hurray!

What is the first episode of Evviva! about? The host answers directly:

The first episode, for example, will be dedicated to “Saturday evenings”, those of “Studio Uno” or “Canzonissima”, by Mina and Raffaella Carrà. In the next episode, we will dedicate ourselves to famous TV couples: Sandra Mondaini and Raimondo Vianello, Bice Valori and Paolo Panelli, Cochi and Renato, just to name a few”.

Rome will be the setting for the first stage of this journey, where spectators will be able to admire the Colosseum and other icons of the capital. The production of “Evviva!” it will avail itself of the rich material of the Teche Raia real treasure containing period documents and images, essential for reconstructing and authentically telling the history of Italian television.

“I’ll be there, but not much. I’m already there to talk about television, I can’t talk about myself too. Rather, it will be an opportunity to review things that still excite me”, says Morandi.

The guests of the episode

Alongside Gianni Morandi, every episode of “Evviva!” will see the presence of special guests who will share significant memories and anecdotes linked to the history of Italian television. For the inaugural episode on April 26, i two guests of honor will be Carlo Conti and Leo Gassmann. The latter will have the opportunity not only to talk about his vision of television, but also to share reflections on the relationship with his father and grandfather, fhistorical figures in the world of entertainment. The program was born as a heartfelt homage to Italian television and its protagonists, without any personal celebratory intent on Morandi’s part.

“But yes! Long live lightheartedness, long live music and long live television which brought us all this, together with great dramas and news from all over the world. And which, still today, keeps us so much company”the host is keen to underline.
