This year’s edition ofIsland of the Famous it’s quite turbulent. The Canale 5 reality show started just under a month ago and there are already two castaways who have decided to abandon the game, not challenging the televoting. In the last few hours, as also reported by the official accounti of the program, Island of the Famous has to do without the presence of Pietro Fanelli who, in fact, was one of the competitors most interesting of the edition precisely because of his air of a tormented man from other times. The poet, as he was nicknamed, in light of the harsh confrontation he had with the rest of the competitors over the last few hours, decided to leave the game and return to Italy. A cold shower for the entire production of the reality show which finds itself forced to shuffle the cards again. But what pushed the poet to say “enough” and leave the island? The quarrel which occurred in the last few hours was only the tip of the iceberg because the non-famous man had already been showing signs of tiredness and incompatibility with the rest of the group for several days.
An attitude that had already been noticed during Monday evening, after he had responded with pungent wordsia Sonia Bruganelli regarding the theft of rice. Then the choice to separate him from the group and carry out a mission: to find food. Peter, who was also warned because he burned the parchment to fuel the fire without permission, once he passed the test he decided not to divide part of the food with the others. Controversy erupts, leading to the decision to leave the Island of the Famous. “I apologize to everyone if I hurt anyone. Now I feel that my journey here is over”, he revealed to his fellow adventurers.
And now? What happens with the nominations and televoting? After Pietro Fanelli’s withdrawal, the televoting was promptly canceled by the production and therefore cancelled. It will be reopened during the evening of Monday 29 April with the other five castaways who were already nominated. Sonny Olumati, Rosanna Lodi, Daniele Radini Tedeschi, Khady Gueye and Joe Bastianich are still in competition and they are still at risk of elimination, despite Pietro’s farewell. Votes received in the canceled session are not considered valid. Users who voted via SMS will be refunded.
Televoting will then be closed during next week’s episode.
