After the adventures of the seventh stage of Beijing Express 2024, the backpacking traveling reality show from Sky and NOW will definitively come to life starting from the next episode, which will see the protagonists grappling with stage 8.
Between the waves of the Indian Ocean and the humid, rainy highlands, up for grabs – in the episode of tomorrow Thursday 25 April, exclusively on Sky and streaming only on NOW – there will be none other than the semi-final of the journey along the Dragon’s Route, and travelers are called to race in incredible places where tea plantations alternate with breathtaking natural glimpses and one of the most characteristic railways in the world. But to the effort of the previous stages, during the 387 km that separate the ancient fortress of Galle from the eternal city of Kandy and that make up the route of this eighth stage, there will also be misunderstandings and disagreements that will put the psychological resistance of each competitor to the test.
Stage 7 of the Beijing Express will seem like a Sunday stroll in comparison: from the Galle lighthouse, the starting point of the race, travelers will find themselves at the mercy of the waves of the Indian Ocean and they will go in search of sensational “like-grabbing” photos in the most “instagrammable” locations on the Sinhalese coast. Then, mission after mission, they will arrive at the Elephant Transit Home, the Undawalawa National Park, where the first three couples will compete in the highly anticipated “elephant game”the most legendary advantage test of the Beijing Express race.
