Enrico Papi surprises: “Never had any type of foreclosure”
Enrico Papi, at the moment, is at the helm of the new edition of La Pupa e il Secchione, the historic Italia 1 broadcast, which, unfortunately, is not reaching the hoped-for numbers in terms of audience. However, interviewed by the Corriere, the host he proudly remembered his debut at Mediaset:
Berlusconi he slept little: he saw me at night and contacted me to have me at Mediaset. I thought it was a joke, victim for me of a candid camera. I was semi-unknown and he took me instead of Sgarbi who was running for political office. In 1996 “Daily Popes” was the turning point of my career.
After that, he changed the subject, talking about shirtless photos that he often publishes on social media:
It was born as a joke, but I saw that I was getting a lot of likes. It’s an ironic way to self-percuss me, I know it’s ridiculous what I do, but I enjoy it.
Regarding his private life, however, Papi declared that he had not never set limits on a sentimental level:
I have always thought that this distinction between the macho man who must never ask and the fragile woman who must be saved makes no sense. I I could fall in love with a man or a woman alike, never had any type of foreclosure. I have never fallen in love with a manbut it could happen and I don’t find anything wrong with it.
To date, however, he has been married to Raffaella Schisano for 26 years:
We tolerate ourselves: each of us has more defects than qualities and to be together we must know how to appreciate the defects above all. Our union is not newsworthyalthough in reality it should: two who have been together for 25 years resembles a perversion.
