The controversies linked to Rai and the Scurati case continue. “Disciplinary sanctions against Serena Bortone? I have never spoken about this, at all. And this is unacceptable.” Meanwhile, it emerges that Serena Bortone, presenter of What will be (program that was supposed to host Scurati’s monologueed.)and Rai’s Director of Insights, Paolo Corsini, will not be heard in relation to the case by the bicameral Rai Supervisory Commission.
Majority rejects Corsini-Bortone hearing
The decision on the hearings was taken by majority vote of the Commission. Bortone and Corsini’s request for a hearing had been formalized to President Barbara Floridia by the PD group leader, Stefano Graziano, and was supported by all the opposition parties. Not even the request, again made by the minority, to hear the two after May 8th, the day on which the hearing of Rai CEO Sergio and CEO Rossi was scheduled, was passed. For Graziano it is a “serious breach, an incomprehensible forcing: methods already seen. The Rai Supervisory Commission is silenced by majority blows. What is even more serious is that it happens on the eve of the Liberation Day. Parliament must be put in the conditions to shed light on a serious case of Rai’s management. What are they afraid of?
