Who won the evening of Monday 22 April as for the listen to TV? Contending for the scepter of prime time queens, as usual, were Rai Uno and Canale 5. The two flagship networks respectively deployed the fiction with Edoardo Leo ‘Il clandestino’ and the surviving show Island of the Famous hosted by Vladimir Luxuria.
As has been the case since the beginning of the season, the Island of the Famous is unable to get back on top and is stuck at 16.2% sharewith 2 million 105 thousand viewers.
The winner of the evening again this week was the fiction ‘Il clandestino’, with the 16.6% share and an audience of 2 million 947 thousand spectators.
Figures that are decidedly lower than usual and this is due to the football derby between Milan and Inter which gave the Scudetto to the Nerazzurri.
The program hosted by Vladimir Luxuria still doesn’t work. It cannot be said that he is disappointing, because already after the first episode it was clear what direction he would fit into. That, as Angelina Mango would sing, of boredom. A boredom that pervades every minute of the Island of the Famous. There is not a flash, there is not a thrill, there is not a controversy that is ridden for the right time. In short, there is no management and authors.
Not to mention the commentators: Sonia Bruganelli and Dario Maltese argue. Perhaps it would be more interesting to let them do it and understand how the confrontation between the two of them could evolve. Also because the relationship between them and the cast of castaways is a cosmic void. The fact, however, is only one: if you bet on Sonia Bruganelli you are aware of the fact that she will be divisive, uncomfortable, self-centered and completely partialso we might as well give it carte blanche and accept the drift to which the program can lead.
A drift that unfortunately doesn’t exist today. The Island of the Famous languishes in the nothingness of a Pietro Fanelli more and more moths in the predicament of becoming carbonized in the light of any type of light bulb, of a Daniele Radini Tedeschi caricature of every kind of caricature, of a Edoardo Stoppa in the odor of excessive sanctity and of a Khady Gueye a little too much of a circle-bottist. All around Samuel Peron, Greta Zuccarello and then the void.
The real problem that the surviving Canale 5 show is clearly manifesting, especially in this edition, however, is one narration that is now stale, old, moldy. The physical tests have always been the same for years, the deprivations that should be at the center of the program no longer worry anyone: every dynamic is flat and already seen.
