Seventh stage for the 5 couples remaining in the race Beijing Express 2024. In prime time on Sky Uno another 170 km traveled on the “Dragon’s Route“, this time in Sri Lanka, the island known as the “Tear of India” or the “Pearl of the Orient”, the third and last country – after North Vietnam and Laos – touched by this edition of the adventure game. First at the finish line the pair of “Friends” composed by Maddalena Corvaglia And Barbara Petrillowhile the latest arrivals – the “training”Italy Argentina“: Estefania Bernal – Antonella Fiordelisi – were saved from the black envelope, remaining on the road in Costantino della Gherardesca’s reality show only for the skin of their teeth.

Beijing Express 2024: winners and eliminated seventh episode (18 April)

TO Negomboa characteristic seaside town on the east coast of the island, the competitors began the stage by helping a group of fishermen to work on the sun dried fish. Then the Beijing Express caravan moved towards Moratuwa, where they were greeted by a torrential downpour which further complicated things for all the travellers. Between hitchhiking made complicated by the stench emanating from the competitors (legacy of the previous “fish” test) and houses with not very welcoming kitchens (like the one invaded by flies which greatly disturbed Petrillo), the couples then reached Ambalangoda, where the competitors tried their hand at creating a rope with coconut shells through machinery that is anything but simple to use. Among the couples most in difficulty, the pastry chefs, so much so that Damiano Carrara – after having sent home without ceremony Fabio Caressa in the last episode – he rather blatantly scolded his brother in front of the other contestants. The “Amiche” were the first to reach the partial finish line, while the “Ballerinas” struggled a lot at the rear of the group and also received a Black Flag penalty and an additional penalty for the Ariyapala mask which forced Maddalena Svevi to compete for several hours without seeing practically anything.

At the restart, in Galle, the couples went on a bicycle treasure hunt, having to navigate the (twisted) streets of the town to find the four numbers needed to form the year in which the first library in Sri Lanka was built, all made even more complicated by the bugbear of black flag changed hands over and over again with lots of unexpected events happening to Megan Riafell disastrously to the ground in an attempt to pass the flag to the Fratm.

After completing the mission, the travelers headed for the red carpet at the end of the episode. The Friends were the first to cross the finish line, followed by the Pastry Chefs; last and penultimate are the Italy-Argentina and Fratm couples, both at risk of elimination. The winners decided their fate Maddalena Corvaglia and Barbara Petrillo, who unexpectedly chose to save Fratm. It wasn’t an easy decision, because from the first stages Corvaglia cultivated a special feeling with Antonella. The former showgirl, however, had to bend to the will of her partner Barbara (who instead feeds one great sympathy for Antonio Orefice), despite blatantly disapproving of the move and showing a certain disapproval towards Petrillo, so much so that he immediately approached Italy-Argentina to apologise. Luckily for him, the duo Fiordelisi-Bernal saved themselves on the gong thanks to the non-eliminating black envelope. Once the danger was over, Antonella and Estefania breathed a sigh of relief but left it to themselves. Between accidents, sparks with other competitors and the final fear, the seventh episode was very hard for them and they closed it swearing revenge: “From today on, it’s us against everyone…”, said Antonella.
