Massimo Giannini in the sights ofAdrai, the association of managers of Viale Mazzini. The case arises from the words used by the Repubblica editorialist in his podcast in which he actually talks about Amadeus’ farewell and puts the prime minister and government in his sights.
The managers’ association Rai, with a very harsh note, “strongly rejects the reconstructions carried out by Massimo Giannini in the podcast entitled ‘Amadeus says goodbye to TeleMeloni and the right keeps its promise: the best are out, only the weak remain'”. According to Adrai, the former director “demonstrates that he is using the Rai topic for instrumental and misleading purposes, and confirms the bad faith underlying the budget and management analyses, unfounded and peppered with offensive expressions for the entire category of Rai employees “.
“Continue to paint Rai as a bandwagon driven (increasingly) by ‘servants’ and feed artfully generated fake news – continues the association – it is a methodologically incorrect operation and aims only to weaken the Public Service which instead, as a common good, must be defended and strengthened”. “We hope that we can discuss serious and controversial issues in the future general interest relating to the company’s prospects, rather than on unspeakable specious attacks”, concludes the association. In short, the Rai case continues to be discussed but certain rhetoric used by the comic left goes off the rails of the normal debate on public service.
