We know that stories about superheroes, superpowers and extraordinary forces have always fascinated young and old alike and, come on Netflixthere is a South Korean series that is a perfect mix between this category and the difficulties associated with trying to be an ordinary person. We’re talking about Casherodirected by Lee Chang-minwritten by Lee Jae-in e Jeon Chan-hoand based on the namesake webtoons Cocoa by Lee Hoon and No Hye-ok, together known as Team Befar. The first season amazed fans among deceptions and unexpected twists but how did this series end? We are ready to provide you with ours explanation of the ending but, be CAREFUL because there will be SPOILERS.
Cashero, plot and cast of the South Korean series
Before I tell you how it ended Casherolet’s take a look at plotwhich allows us to understand what this series is about. Kang Sang-Woonga municipal employee with an ordinary life, dreams of buying a house and marrying his girlfriend Min-Sook. His life changes when discovers about possess superhuman strength proportional to the money you carry with you, but each use empties your wallet. Forced to use his powers, gets into dangerous situations along with other superhumans: Byeon Ho-Inwho can walk through walls after drinking, and Bang Eun Miwhose telekinesis depends on the calories ingested. The group ends up in the crosshairs of Mundane Vanguarda criminal organization led by Jonathan, Joanna and Jo Won-Do, which exploits superhumans. Sang-Woong, aided by Min-Sook, Kim Min-Suk and detective Hyun-Seung, who can rewind time, learns to control his powers and faces moral and personal challenges to defeat the Vanguard and protect those he loves. Cashero, how the series ended: the explanation of the ending
And here we come to the most important part: how it ends Cashero? Now we’ll explain it to you straight away. The first season of the series ends with Sang-ung That defeats Jo Nathan and dismantles the Mundane Vanguard. After his second defeat against Cashero, Nathan decides to strengthen his body injecting himself with all the superhero serumsgaining strength, speed, and the ability to manipulate lightning. His first move is to exterminate his family, starting with his sister Jo Anna, while his father survives thanks to Jeongja. The final fight between Nathan and Sang-ung compares two opposite ways of using powers: Nathan uses them for evil, Sang-ung grows morally. Initially, Nathan seems invincible, but Sang-ung, Bun-mi and Byeon receive support from civilians, who donate money and resources. Thanks to the perfect cooperation between the three, Nathan is finally neutralized and knocked out, destined for arrest.
Nathan survives the explosion thanks to Hermes/Su-yeon, who saves him with superspeed, but is then brutally killed by him. Min-suk discovers she is pregnant, and the family celebrates in their new home, even though her life expectancy is shortened due to Sang-ung’s temporal powers. There Mundane Vanguard is destroyedbut the Beohma resources come under the control of Jeongja, who becomes a new threat for Sang-ungaiming for both debt and integrating superpowers into one’s family. Nonetheless, the community’s determination and support offer hope to Sang-ung and his loved ones, setting the stage for future challenges.
