Terra Amara, from the change to the cancellation at the end of the month: the Mediaset maneuvers (which infuriate the fans)

It seems that Mediaset has found a way to make fans turn up their noses: at the center of the issue is the broadcast of Terra Amara.

There really doesn’t seem to be any peace for Terra Amarathe Turkish soap opera which has been a true point of reference for Italian television for many years, a great success which, regardless of the time slot, never ceases to capture the attention of viewers.

Yet, this time, Mediaset seems to have decided to make fans turn up their noses, no one expected the choice of the new change in programming and it seems that the news was not taken in the best way. But let’s try to understand better what happened.

Mediaset changes its programming, again

As Blasting News reports initially the soap opera was supposed to be broadcast on Easter Sundaywhich we remember will fall on March 31st, with the stop to other programs on the network, but now things have changed.

In short, if at first the public thought they could spend Easter evening in the company of the Turkish TV series, they will now have to think again. Mediaset did an about-face and relocated The Record Show with Gerry Scotti to prime time.

The Turkish series will instead be shown in prime time on Monday 1 April. To understand better, at first that was supposed to be Sunday’s programming in the early afternoon slot with a new two-hour special episode and then followed in prime time, from 9.30pm to 11.30pm. Then we thought about confirmation but only in the afternoon.

The reasons for this choice are not known but it is also true that the decision does not seem to have been taken in the best way by the majority of the public who had completely different plans and who now, inevitably, will be unable to do anything but change them .

Anyway, the date with Bitter Earth, however, will move to Monday 1st April: the Turkish soap will inherit the evening slot left free by Big Brother, taking over from the film “Marry Me”, initially scheduled at 9.30pm immediately after Striscia la notizia. Then, always in the same week, barring further changes, the soap opera should be broadcast on April 4th. All that remains is to countdown to find out if things will really go like this or if the public will undergo some other change.
