All about Chiara Casadei, the Harvard girl: where she lives, her age, her passions and how she got to College!
Scrolling through Tiktok’s “For You” you may have heard “good morning from College”, but who is the girl who opens her videos with this motto? It’s about Clare Casadei, a 23-year-old creator, who lives on Lake Garda, but has had various experiences in America. On Tiktok Chiara talks about her about her life at College, her thousand trips, she talks about her method of study and the differences between Italian and American schools. In her most popular video, the girl talks about Harvard, but how did she get there?
Before we tell you how she ended up at Harvard, let’s get to know her better! Chiara sings, reads, draws, has a thousand passions. Furthermore, she really likes to talk and reflect and for this very reason, after having inaugurated her Tiktok profile, she opened a podcast on Spotify in October last year: “The first podcast in Italy of personal stories. I’m Chiara Casadei, I’m almost 22 years old. I’ll tell you what’s going through my head.” In 2020 she graduated from the high school of human sciences with good grades, but the high school experience is not the best:
I’ve always liked understanding psychology and human relationships; so, I always wanted to be up to date and did a lot of research. But in high school I had to mention the information in the book when I was asked questions, which maybe wasn’t even updated. Another difference between the Italian and American study methods: in America they are always up to date, in fact they rarely use paper books. Because through websites and online books they can be continuously integrated
Let’s get to the point, how did he end up at harvard? Chiara attends the Unicat (Catholic University) of Brescia and during her second year she left to study one month at Harvard for an intensive course in modern literature. Is getting accepted into Collage really that easy? Chiara explained that the most important requirement to be admitted is to have a C1 level English certification and to people who ask her how she managed to have such a good level of English, she replies: “I didn’t do linguistics and I have not had experiences abroad by myself. My English I learned it by translating songs from High School Musical!”.
But from the experience of a month that was to be, a real love for America was born. Now, indeed, having won well two scholarships and having passed the last exam in Italy, the girl attends the University of California at Berkeley. And what do you think?
