Benelli TRK 702
Born to travel, the new proposal is a comfortable and tireless globetrotter Benelli designed to travel endless roads and reach new destinations, but also to enjoy the city in comfort, offering unique emotions. TRK 702 is in fact a multifaceted tourer, a two-wheeler capable of offering maximum comfort to rider and passenger and an excellent riding feeling, without ever forgetting attention to fun.
A bike devoted to adventure, developed by R&D and the Benelli Style Center in Pesaro, which expands and completes the TRK range, entering a medium-engined range. An easy, intuitive bike, ideal for long journeys, powered by a brand new 698 cc twin-cylinder in-line Benelli engine, born from the need to create an intermediate product range between the 500cc and 800cc engines and exploiting the experience acquired in the development and industrialization of both types of engine.
The engine delivers a power of 70 HP (51.5 kW) at 8000 rpm and a torque of 70 Nm at 6000 rpm, guaranteeing an always prompt and reactive engine response. The distribution is double overhead camshaft, 4 valves per cylinder, with chain drive and crankshaft with crank pins offset by 180°. The injection is electronic, with a double 41 mm diameter throttle body.
The transmission group, on the other hand, features a removable 6-speed gearbox on the clutch side, assisted by an oil-bath slipper clutch with torque server, which allows smooth and precise gear engagements. The engine of 698 cc it also includes the reduced power version at 35kW for A2 licenses.
The frame is a traditional tubular trellis with a steel plate, typical of the models of the Casa del Leoncino, derived for the occasion from the 500cc model, capable of guaranteeing handling and stability in all conditions and especially ideal for long journeys. The front suspensions include an upside-down fork with 50 mm legs, with a travel of 140 mm and an aluminum swingarm with central shock absorber with adjustable spring preload and hydraulic rebound brake, with a travel of 45 mm ( 154mm at the wheel).
Comfort and functionality are the watchwords of Benelli TRK 702, which features a standard fairing able to better protect both the rider and the passenger and a backlit handlebar control block, to offer maximum visibility even at night. As an option, heated grips and rider saddle will be available, so the bike is already ready for installation.
High-performance braking system guaranteed by a double 320 mm diameter semi-floating front disc and four-piston caliper and a 260 mm diameter rear disc with single-piston caliper. The 17″ aluminum alloy rims are fitted with 120/70 and 160/60 Pirelli Angel GT tyres.
The design of the new TRK 702, born from the Benelli Style Center in Pesaro, relies on original and authentic lines, maintaining the family feeling typical of the TRK family but evolving into an even more aggressive and modern style, giving the bike an undisputed personality. As on the “sister” adventure, with which it shares proportions and volumes, the design of the bike stems from the need to make recognizable stylistic elements typical of the new TRK range, starting with the front headlight with its aggressive and extremely recognizable line, to the muscularity of its shapes , capable of giving strength and dynamism to this two-wheeler.
Being intended for travel, the TRK 702 has a tank with a capacity of 20 litres and offers a comfortable pair of passenger handles, which also act as a stylistic element to close the bike.
This two-wheeler also offers a full LED optical unit and a high resolution 5” color TFT display, which has a Bluetooth connection to connect to the phone showing incoming calls and notifications and via the handlebar blocks, it will also be possible open and close the call. Furthermore, by downloading an application on your mobile phone and connecting via wi-fi, through a phone-mirroring solution it will be possible to transform the dashboard of your bike in a navigator.
Benelli TRK 702 will be available in all Benelli dealerships starting from the end of July, in the Anthracite Gray and Pearl White colors, and in a limited series also in the Forest Green color. The price is 7,490 euros.

. The design of the Benelli TRK 702X stems from the need to evolve the concepts introduced with the new TRK range, consolidating and making the most characteristic stylistic elements recognizable, transforming them into stylistic features proper to the family.
Elements such as the headlightwith double LED module set in the iconic structure of the goggle or like the design of the tank, made of metal in the area in contact with the rider’s legs, to have the minimum size and allow maximum freedom of movement, without penalizing the capacity of the tank, of no less than 20 litres.
Another distinctive trait of the new Benelli TRK 702X, shared with the other newcomers in the range, are the rear handlesgenerous but perfectly integrated into the profile of the vehicle, long-limbed, to offer maximum comfort also to the passenger and at the same time giving a very important stylistic element, going to define the rear end of the bike.
A design that integrates perfectly with the brand new 698cc twin-cylinder in-line Benelli engine, designed thanks to the experience acquired from the development of the 500cc and 800cc engines, from which this new platform was born which presents technical solutions already used in the past, but modified following a logic of reduction of weights and measures.

The braking system consists of a double 320 mm diameter front disc with two-piston floating caliper and a 260 mm diameter rear disc with single-piston floating caliper. The 19” front wheels and 17” aluminum alloy wheels with steel spokes are fitted with Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR 110/80 and 150/70 tyres, respectively.
