fluckily there were no serious consequences. The Italian pilot was a victim of a bad accident – maybe it’s more of a real flight – during Race 1 in the MXGP round of France (in this article we tell you how the race weekend went, in case you missed it).

After the disastrous fall, Alberto got up and clearly in pain, and then went away on his legs. The SDM Corse rider did not take part in the second heat of the French round. Forato was competitive, in qualifying he finished fourth and had all the credentials in order in order to bring home an excellent result, Sin.

“What can I say, from stars to rags” comments Alberto Forato. “It wasn’t what I expected, but luckily I’m fine. I have nothing broken, just pain and bruises all over.” The driver is already ready for the next race: “A little rest and I’ll pick up where I left off, hungrier than ever.”
