Ray Stevenson, actor 59-year-old British, he is died this morning athospital Rizzoli of Ischia: he had been on the island for a few days to shoot the film “Cassino a Ischia”, directed by Frank Ciota and in which Ugo Dighero also stars and suffered an illness which required hospitalization on the island on Saturday afternoon. This morning the actor’s conditions, already very serious at the time of hospitalization, worsened and shortly after he died.

Who was Ray Stevenson
Stevenson starred in over twenty films (including Thor and King Arthur) and was best known for his portrayal of Titus Pullo in the BBC/Hbo series Rome.
In the film that was shooting in Ischia he played Nic Cassino, an American action movie actor, former blockbuster, who comes to Italy looking for inspiration to make a film that leaves its mark.
