Well 23 women on the Ariston stage alongside Amadeus in four years of festivals. But the real Lady San Remo always sits in the front row and responds to the name of Giovanna Civitillo. For Sanremo 2023 Amadeus has chosen a quartet of co-hosts very varied: the influencer with millions of followers, Chiara Ferragni (first evening and final), the ‘beast’ journalist Francesca Fagnani (second evening), the volleyball champion Paola Egonu (third evening) and the actress and writer Chiara Francini (fourth evening). Four women with strong personalities who will bring their stories to the Ariston stage. This has happened in previous years, i.e. since 2020 when Amadeus became artistic director and host of the event. In recent years, those who were once called ‘vallette’ have become co-hosts.
In the edition of 2020 I’m doing well nine: Rula Jebreal, Diletta Leotta, Laura Chimenti, Emma D’Aquino, Sabrina Salerno, Georgina Rodríguez, Alketa Vejsiu, Antonella Clerici and Francesca Sofia Novello. In the 2021 alongside Amadeus were present Matilda De Angelis, Elodie, Vittoria Ceretti, Barbara Palombelli and Beatrice Venezi. Ornella Muti, Lorena Cesarini, Drusilla Foer, Maria Chiara Giannetta and Sabrina Ferilli met at Sanremo 2022. In short, a sort of harem even if the real and only one ‘first lady’ of San Remo it is Giovanna Civitillowife of Amadeus who we have seen in recent years (as well as Sanremo correspondent of “La vita in Directe” and presenter of “Primafestival”) always sitting in the front row (except in 2021 when the Ariston theater was completely empty for the Covid restrictions) together with the son Jose Albertoto cheer on his “Ama”.
Giovanna Civitillo and Amadeus, in defiance of evil tongues, have been a couple for over twenty years and they have a teenage son, Josè (in honor of Mourinho, the coach of the Treble at Inter, the team the conductor supports), born on January 18, 2009. The couple is very close. “We share everything,” Civitillo said recently. And, in fact, on social media they have the couple profile. But not to control each other. “The profile is Giovanna Civitillo, then because he always asked me: ‘Can you post this video for me?’ ‘Cause he’s not capable, absolutely, so he said ‘Okay, then I add ‘and Amadeus’. The two met in 2002, recording the program the Legacy. He was the conductor, while she was the dancer and valetas well as the protagonist of the game de ‘The shock’. For months the public thought there might be something between the two, especially given the way the conductor looked at Civitillo, and, in fact, in the end the two made their story official. “I have been a member of all the corps de ballet, both Rai and Mediaset, what I wanted to do as a child” she told “Domenica In” some time ago. “Meeting Ama turned my life upside down: yes, it was the end of my careerwe can say it, but with him I realized my true dream, which is to build myself one beautiful family and have a wonderful son,” added the woman who married Amadeus in a civil ceremony in the summer of 2009. Marriage with religious ritualhowever, was celebrated in July 2019, after the conductor had obtained the dissolution of the first marriage with Marisa DiMartinomother of his first daughter, Alice.
Who is Giovanna Civitillo
Showgirl, dancer and TV personality, Giovanna Civitillo was born in Vico Equensein the province of Naples, on 9 September 1977. He begins to study dance and classical and modern in San Gennaro Vesuviano (Naples) at theArt and Entertainment Academy “Spazio Danza” directed by Rosa Varriale and Francesco Imperatore in 1986. In 1994 she graduated with the role of Teresina in the ballet “Napoli” by August Bournonville at the Bellini Theater of the Neapolitan city. During her studies, she with the center takes part in various national and international dance competitions. As a soloist she wins the third prize in the competition of Genzano di Roma and is finalist in Rieti during the International Dance Week.
In 1996 he began working in television, both on Rai and Mediaset channels, such as dancer in various programmes: “Fantastica Italiana” (1997), “Carramba! What a surprise” (1998), “Blessed Among Women” (1999) and “Sunday In” (2001). From 2002 to 2006 you are alongside Amadeus at “The legacy” as a dancer and valet.
