Fifteen shows in thirteen municipalities: this is the thirtieth edition of the provincial festival ‘I Luoghi della Musica’, which will start on Tuesday 16 July and will end on Sunday 18 August. The organization of the thirtieth anniversary event has been curated, as always, by four of the most significant musical associations in the province: ‘Il Pianoforte’ in the role of leader, then the Hyperion Instrumental Group, the ‘Amici della Musica’ of Sarzana and the Società dei Concerti della Spezia. The festival is realized with the contribution of the Carispezia Foundation and will take place between Ameglia, Arcola, Bolano, Brugnato, Castelnuovo Magra, Follo, La Spezia, Monterosso, Riccò del Golfo, Riomaggiore, Santo Stefano Magra, Sesta Godano and Vernazza. The program is now a point of reference and contains, as every year, shows dedicated to various musical genres: classical music, opera, ethnic, jazz, tango, folk, film music, pop, rock, music/acting and singer-songwriter with the aim of bringing musical culture throughout the territory, through a single project. The goal is to animate and enhance small and large centers of notable beauty. The events, in suggestive locations, will be performed equally by nationally and internationally renowned artists (such as the well-known actor and director Enzo Decaro on August 9, the singer-songwriter and composer Patrizia Cirulli and the guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Marcello Peghin on August 17, the Quartetto K on August 11, the Quartetto Se.Go.Vi.O on August 12, the singers Carlos Habiague and Biljana Stojkowska on July 18, the guitarist Claudio Piastra, the Sator Duo on July 28, the bandoneonist Fabrizio Colombo, the Trio Rewind on August 6, the violinist Manuela Matis and the harpist Floraleda Sacchi on August 18, the group Abba Dream on August 18) and artists from the Ligurian region with an intense artistic activity under their belt (the Quartetto Apuano on July 22, the actor and director Graziano Cesarotti, the singer and guitarist Michele Codeglia, the singer and bassist Fabio D’Andrea, the drummer Riccardo Codeglia, the keyboardist Antonio Antognetti and the guitarist Nicola Mioli on 16 and 27 July and 2 and 10 August, the Trio Pop on 6 August, the Ensemble Hyperion on 18 July). All this was possible thanks to those who supported the festival, such as the Carispezia Foundation, the Department of Culture of the Liguria Region, the 13 Municipalities of our province with their pro loco, Coop Liguria (and the patronage of the Province of La Spezia). The concerts are all free admission, until all seats are taken. For paid concerts at the Castello di San Giorgio in the capital on 11 and 17 August contact [email protected] or 379 2779796 (also text message and/or Whatsapp).
