The victim immediately called the police, who promptly arrived on the scene, arresting her violent husband. A 30-year-old Romanian ended up in handcuffs and yesterday morning, following the summary hearing, was placed under a restraining order from approaching the woman and children.
The 30-year-old was released from prison and in case of violation of the precautionary measure, an aggravation of the same will be triggered. The continuation of the direct trial is scheduled for next September 19. The man is accused of aggravated injuries towards his cohabiting partner and the woman’s daughter. According to the military investigations, on Friday evening the thug, after having gulped down a lot of alcohol, during an argument hit the woman, who was holding her youngest son of just one year old and, in an attempt to slap her, hit the child. But the 30-year-old did not stop even in front of the injuries inflicted on the child, continuing to hit the woman with a punch. The victim’s daughter intervened to defend the young mother, but the suspect turned and started punching the girl. The victims, who immediately called the police fearing for their safety, were then transported to the hospital and treated. The girl was discharged with a fifteen-day prognosis, the mother five. The man will no longer be able to approach them.
