The first informative meeting of the Canaseme project will be held on Thursday 4th July, at 9:30 am, at the CERERIS Azienda Agricola di Francesco Procacci in Cervinara (AV) in via Variante n.65.
The project, funded by the Campania Region under the PSR 2014/20 – Measure 16, Sub-measure 16.1.2 – “Support to the GOs of the PEI for the implementation of projects for the dissemination of innovations within the scope of the strengthening of the Campania AKIS – Focus Area 2°”, provides for the implementation of industrial hemp agro-technics for the production of seeds with high technological requirements through the application of innovative technologies to the seed.
Speakers will include Dr. Domenico Cerrato from CREA – Caserta Research Center for Cereal Crops and Industrial Crops, who will present the hemp plot trial field, and Dr. Francesco Procacci, owner of CERERIS Azienda Agricola, who will talk about the expectations of agricultural entrepreneurs from the Canaseme project.
At the end of the meeting there will be a discussion and then a tasting of hemp-based products offered by the CERERIS company.
The Canaseme project is characterized by its multidisciplinarity: interaction of agronomic factors on seed production; collection optimization; improvement of seed technology; innovative techniques with low environmental impact to improve germination; Healthcare; conservation over time.
