From 1 July 2024, subscriptions for the use of the services of the integrated Formula system, in which GTT also participates, and of the GTT extra-urban rail and car services, will be on sale at new prices. The Turin urban season ticket (Formula U) is excluded from the increases.
GTT: subscription prices will increase from 1 July
On its website, GTT informs that the tariff adjustment is a consequence of the automatic updating to inflation of the tariffs foreseen for local public transport starting from 1 July 2024 (approved with Resolution no. 5/2024 of 26/01/ 2024 by the Assembly of the Piedmont Mobility Agency – AMP).
Only last summer, GTT announced the increase in local public transport ticket prices. In that case the paper ticket had gone from 1.70 euros to two euros, while the digital one from 1.70 to 1.90 euros. Now, a year later, another increase.
What changes
Subscriptions will suffer an average increase in Formula rates of 3.64%.
At the same time, the Metropolitan Integrated Ticket (BIM A and BIM B) which allows intermodal travel on trams, buses, railways and subways will also adjust the fares.
The Integrated BIM A, valid for 100 minutes from validation on the urban and suburban GTT network of Turin, on the metro and on the Trenitalia railway lines within the limits of the first belt, will be on sale for 3.80 euros instead of 3.70 euros
The Integrated BIM B, valid for 120 minutes from validation on the urban and suburban GTT network of Turin, on the underground, on the Trenitalia railway lines and on some extra-urban car lines managed by the Extra.To Consortium (single operator for transport in the Metropolitan City of Turin ) within the limits of the second belt, it will be on sale for 4.50 euros instead of 4.20 euros.
