Artisan businesses aim to become joint-stock companies

The objective is to encourage the growth of artisan businesses in the province of Udine in the management of joint-stock companies, supporting their path. With this aim, Confartigianato Imprese Udine e Servizi e Finanza Fvg, in collaboration with Bcc 360 Fvg and Confidimprese Fvg, organize Thursday 27 June from 5.45 pm in the Valduga room of the Pordenone-Udine Chamber of Commercein Piazza Venerio 5 in Udine, the event entitled: «Financing growth: subsidized credit and financial instruments to support the growth and innovation of joint-stock companies».

The event will open with speeches by the president of Confartigianato-Imprese Udine Graziano Tilatti, the president of Bcc 360 Fvg Luca Occhialini, and the president of Confidimprese Fvg, Roberto Vicentini. This will be followed by interventions by important experts on specific topics: Towards a sustainable future: the 5.0 transition plan; The benefits of the Fvg Development Fund; The guarantees in support of the subsidized credit; The other contributions for artisan businesses in Friuli Venezia Giulia.

There will then be space for any specific questions from the artisan entrepreneurs present.

THE NUMBERS

In Friuli Venezia Giulia there are 2,383 active LLC companies, therefore the companies most likely to think of becoming joint-stock companies in the near future, registered in the Artisan Register as of 31 March 2024 and correspond to 8.7% of the entire sector. In the province of Udine, there are 1,266 and correspond to 9.7% of the total.

The artisan LLCs in the province of Udine have a turnover of more than 1 million euros for 33.4%; between 500 thousand and 1 million; the remaining 43.9% have a turnover of less than 500 thousand euros.

65% of these companies are concentrated in 4 sectors: construction, systems, metalworking and wood-furniture. In 17.2% of cases the artisan LLCs are based in the municipality of Udine. 76% of these companies have a micro-enterprise size, under 10 employees, while the remaining 24% belong to the group of small non-micro enterprises.
