THE MINIMUM ON YESTERDAY’S VOTE
Personal premise: I am retired after 26 years as a school director and therefore I have a generous pension and many other interests, in addition to family affection.
Therefore I say, to those who think I am an orphan of a seat, I have won my freedom.
We made a political choice, not an opportunistic calculation.
Having said that, someone will continue to think so and frankly I don’t care.
Our list is inspired by a vision: we have a Region divided into three parts.
A part along the Via Emilia where political, state and economic power is concentrated.
The Romagna of the sea and extraordinary tourist entrepreneurs.
And a part to the north west (which we could call the Cispadana area) which is the province, the outskirts of the Region. It has excellences such as biomedical, mechanical and agricultural and much more, but it has much inferior services, poor roads and politics that are inadequate and incapable of thinking of themselves as a project.
From this dissatisfaction we have built a civic list with ideas such as Mirandola 50mila, Historic City, Professional training for work: three objectives alone sufficient to fill a long administrative commitment.
The vote revealed the awareness that this Region is not contestable: the Democratic Party with its coalitions wins in the major centers and will win in the Region in October. With the alliance, without giving up anything, we wanted to build, with the Mirandola PD, a force capable of dialogue but also of developing an action of negotiation and political rebalancing that the regional PD itself will have to face, if it does not want to deliver a part of the Region at the Centre-right, as happens in the province of Ferrara.

It is possible, but there was no other and the isolation of Mirandola in a former Northern Area Union which will struggle to remain standing, entering into perpetual conflict, will prepare for a consolidated marginalization.
But we will be able to continue to have street food fairs and parties, or rather more.
From today we have a Mirandola split into three parts: one half that does not vote and is not interested in which mayor to have, one half of the half that would like a courageous and protagonist Mirandola in the Region and the other half of the half (plus 200 votes) that celebrate yesterday’s vote.
