Prince Harry has described the moment he discovered his mother, Lady Diana Spencer, had died in a car accident. The pain is still immense.
In 2023 the Prince Harry has released his scabrous autobiography entitled “Spare” in which he embarrassed the British royal family. The second son of King Charles III explained the reasons that led him to the decision to abandon his homeland and his role as an official member within the monarchical institution.
The revelations resulted in an irreparable rift with her father and older brother, Prince William. Harry leads a separate life in the United States with his wife Meghan Markle and children Archie and Lilibet.
In his memoir, the Duke of Sussex also spoke about his childhood and terrible moment when he discovered that his mother, Lady Diana Spencer, was no longer there. Harry, the pain of the loss of Lady Diana is still poignant
The Princess of Wales Diana Spencer was 36 years old when she died. Their son Harry was 12 at the time. Today, as an adult, he describes his deep love for her. In his memoir, “Spare”, he recounted the devastating moments in which he found out about his mother’s death.
He was staying at Balmoral with his older brother William. Her father, the current ruler Charles III, entered her room and stood next to the bed. He was wearing a white robe that made him look like a ghost. Harry asked what was wrong with him; at this point Carlo sat down on the bed. He put his hand on his knee and told him about the accident.
It was all surreal. In her heart she hoped it was just a dream. Charles III went on to say what Lady Diana was “seriously injured” but Harry still believed she would recover. Then the words he never wanted to hear: “They tried, dear boy. I’m afraid she didn’t make it.”
At that moment, everything stopped. Harry can’t remember what he did or said next. In “Spare” tells that his father did not hug him; he had never been good at showing his emotions.
