He will no longer be part of the CTRthe regional technical committee called to express its opinion on safety issues regarding industrial installations “at risk of a major accident”, the firefighter who in autumn 2023 had voted against the transfer of chemical deposits Carmagnani and Superba from Multedo to Ponte Somalia, in port at Sampierdarena, a move supported by the mayor Marco Bucci.

Emanuele Gissi, engineer and deputy commander of the fire brigade in Genoa, thus leaves the CTR, an organization which, by overturning a previous unfavorable verdict by majority vote, had given the green light to the depot relocation operation.

Gissi had remained firm on his position even in that vote and had never expressed his intention to leave the CTR. But this week the Ligurian Regional Directorate of the Fire Brigade made official two changes relating to its members called to be part of the CTR, which also includes representatives of the Region, Metropolitan City, Arpal, Order of Engineers and Inail.

Amalia Tedeschi leaves, called to the role of provincial commander of Biella, in favor of Arturo Antonelli, and Gissi himself, in favor of Sonia Noci, deputy director of the regional command.

It should be remembered that the Public Prosecutor’s Office is investigating the transfer of deposits from Multedo to Sampierdarena, with a case opened against unknown persons for abuse of office, undue inducement to give or promise benefits and trafficking in influence.
