Enel X lowers DC charging rates starting from 1 July 2024: the new prices

2024 was a difficult year for charging costs and for electric cars in general, which had a fleeting redemption last June 3, with the dedicated incentives ending in a few hours. Well Enel X is now taking a step towards consumers, reducing rates in view of the summer.

From next July 1, 2024, Enel X will lower its tariffs by 5 euro cents per kWh on Fast and Ultra Fast columns, i.e. DC up to 150 kW and HPC over 150 kW. This is good news, given that super-fast charging stations have been excluded from A2A subscriptions and Enel X itself no longer has subscriptions with kWh included, with the exception of the City plan with 80 kWhcertainly not enough to fully cover the summer holidays.

With Premium 10 you get a discount of €0.10/kWh on all Enel At maximum potential, so to speak, Enel X charging can therefore be expensive €0.54/kWh in AC€0.69/kWh in DC, €0.79/kWh in HPC.

Prices can indeed drop to €0.42/kWh for those who own a Tesla or sign up for a subscription costing €9.99 per month/€100 per year, exploiting powers of up to 250 kW.
